Ma questa passione non avrebbe avuto luogo senza quei libri e così cosa c'è di meglio che condividere lo stesso amore per la cultura con uno dei più bei club del libro nel cuore di Doha?
Il club nasce nel 2016 con l'intento di aggregare chi vi partecipa dando vita ad incontri dove discutere, scambiarsi punti di vista e recensire libri scelti dai lettori stessi.

Dare vita a questo club, permettendo ai suoi membri di creare una comunità entusiasta, significa dare vita alla cultura e ai libri come parte integrante del nostro quotidiano.
📙 Nello spazio dedicato a

vi propongo la poesia di uno dei suoi maggiori membri, Omar,
intitolata" love is love"
(or the importance of being in the friend zone)
che non tradurrò in lingua italiana; consapevole che nella poetica ogni sfumatura della lingua é un'espressione del suo autore di cui possiamo coglierne appieno il senso.
Nella migliore tradizione araba la poesia appare velata per poi svelare il vero proposito della stessa "l'amore é amore."
Nel post poesia araba ho già menzionato di come tale poetica abbia la forza di arrivare dritto al lettore, grazie alla sua forma e allo stile semplice ma enormemente evocativo.

To live is to learn
And life’s lessons are endless.
Love is love, she taught.
Sometimes it grabs you by the waist and pulls you close, on the hills of a city of stars.
Looks you in the eyes and plants a kiss on your forehead,
as you both float in heaven, or as close to it as you think you’ll ever be.
Sometimes it stays at a distance,
looks onto your grace and dares not get too close.
Too scared of starting a fire, it basks in your glory and watches as you blossom and bloom.
Lends a helping hand when it’s needed, perfectly happy to be in your orbit, just someone in the crowd.
Love is love, she taught, and having it either way is too great a blessing to ignore.
Too great a blessing to waste running after delusions of what you had thought was love.
Love is love, she taught, and all love is equally precious.

Some collaborations born by chance to show us that love for culture has no borders.
I am italian and after one year of historical readings; following the greatests events regarding Qatar I created this blog.
But this passion it would not have taken place without those books and so what's better than sharing the same love for culture with one of most beautiful bookclub in the heart of Doha? 🇶🇦
#2Qatar book club rises in 2016 with the purpose to aggregate who partecipate to talk about books; exchanging opinions and reviews chosen by the readers themselves.

Bring to life this club, creating an enthusiastic community means bring to life the culture and the books as integral part of our daily life.
In the field #things we wrote about the club there is the poem that I propose, of one of his major members; Omar ⬇️
which I won't translate in italian language being aware that every nuance of a language, is an expression of his author from which we can catch then, fully his sense.
In the best of arabian traditions the poetry appears veiled to show later the real purpose of the poem itself
" love is love" underlining his essence.
In my post entitled #arabian poetry I have already mentioned like this poetry is able to arrive straight to the heart thanks to his shape and his simple style but greatly evocative.
From a books lover to others
